第25回ISHR(International Society for Heart Research) World Congressに参加しました
2025年5月11日から14日まで、奈良県立コンベンションセンターで開催された第25回 ISHR World Congress に参加しました。本学会は、心血管系に関する基礎・臨床研究を対象とした国際学会であり、今回は日本・奈良での開催となりました。
参加者の約9割が国外からの研究者で構成されており、開会式では雅楽の演奏が行われるなど、日本文化を取り入れた趣向が凝らされていました。また、交流イベントではDJタイムが設けられるなど、従来の日本国内学会とは一味違った雰囲気が印象的でした。
九州大学からは、大学院生の大鶴先生がYIAセッションに選出されたほか、篠原助教・池田助教がシンポジウムにて口述発表を行い、阿部教授はシンポジウム座長を務められました。また、ポスターセッションでは大学院生6名が発表を行いました。
各セッションおよびポスター発表では活発な議論が交わされ、普段は直接交流する機会の少ない海外の研究者たちから、多くの貴重なご意見やご助言をいただくことができました。本学会は、国際的な視野を広げる非常に有意義な機会となりました。
